The Khlui is one of the oldest flutes known to man. It has been made in Thailand, where it is still a popular instrument to this day.

How to play the Khlui
- Blow into the mouthpiece at the end of the flute
- It's very easy, just like blowing a recorder
- The khlui is played in front of you, it's very comfortable to hold
- Seven top holes for the fingers, one backhole for the thumb
The musical possibilities
- You can play in Major and Minor
- You can 'bend' notes by slowly sliding your finger off the fingerhole
- The khlui has a reach of over an octave
