Tony Dixon tunable Low D whistle / flute combo (D)
The Tony Dixon low D whistle / flute is a hand-finished instrument that has been made by Tony Dixon. It has a beautiful traditional low whistle tone. It comes in the key of D major.
The instrument comes with two seperate headjoints, one to use it as a low whistle, so you can easily blow into the end of the mouthpiece, and a flute headjoint which allows you to play the instrument like a side-blown flute, holding it vertically.
How to play this low whistle?
- The instrument can be played as a flute or as a whistle
